We had an amazing first quarter at Orange Center Elementary! Thank you for your continued support as we work together to Launch Brilliance Daily. Below are some of our key initiatives and reminders as we begin the second quarter strong.

🌟 Academic Initiatives

Accelerated Reader (AR)

Students are encouraged to read 20 minutes each day and take comprehension tests in AR. They can earn prizes for reaching point clubs!

If your child earned an AR Brag Tag, please remind them to wear it proudly every day.

Reading Plus & Lexia

These are computer-based reading programs that students can also access at home for extra practice and skill building.

Reflex Math (Grades 1–5)

Students practice math facts daily and can earn prizes for achieving their green light goals.

Study Island (Grades 3–5)

A great resource for extra science practice at home or at school.

If you’re looking for additional ways to help your child at home, these programs are an excellent place to start!
